Tumblestone

This pebble form is carefully sculpted by hollowing out stoneware clay by hand and forming a little pooled recess which is picked out with a deep blue glaze. The outer surface is earthy and shaded with an iron oxide wash to contrast with the smooth shiny blue of the little pool. A lovely little aid for mindfulness and meditation.
Size guide: this small artwork measures 100mm at widest point.
